Participation in the research initiative "DeteKTiL"

The research project "DeteKTiL" – the "Detection of plastic particles in food production" – is gaining momentum. The project is led by the Project Management Agency Karlsruhe (PTKA) at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT). It is funded under the "Future of Value Creation" program by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research.

The aim of this project is to develop a detection system capable of identifying transparent plastic components based on their chemical structure in the infrared range.

On April 15th and 16th, 2024, the kickoff meeting took place with the partner companies Minderleinsmühle GmbH & Co. KG and Hans Kupfer & Sohn GmbH & Co. KG. Innovative ideas were exchanged during this meeting, and a roadmap for future collaboration was developed.

The collaboration with CLK GmbH, HAIP Solutions GmbH, and the Georg Simon Ohm Technical University Nuremberg raises high expectations. The progress resulting from this collaboration is eagerly anticipated.
